Description
Hand knitted deep bougainville vest in a warm and lofty mohair wool blend. Round neck with ribbed edge, ribbed detail at armholes and hem. Classic shape in the bodice with intricate lace work all over. A knitted vest that will keep you warm. Pair it with our blouses and trousers or skirts. Also available in navy and smokey blue.
Our hand knitted woollens are made by talented knitters in Nepal. It takes a week to finish a piece. The quality of these warm winter jumpers and cardigans is exceptional. The yarn in these special pieces is hand-spun, hand-dyed and made from non-mulesed wool. It is a resilient, pure yarn that further softens and adapts over time.
These exclusive knits are made in small runs at a Fair Trade cooperative in Nepal. To reflect the personal quality of these knits, and in acknowledgement of the skills of the women who made them, the signature of the woman who knitted the piece is included and attached to the wash care label.
