When we started our little clothing company we always knew it was essential that the people who made our clothes were paid a fair price for the work they did and that they worked in a safe and healthy working environment.
We wouldn’t work for a wage from which we could not afford life's basics, so we don’t expect the people making our clothes to do so.
Currently we work with two women's cooperatives (who produce approximately 70% of our collections) that are both fair trade certified by the WFTO. The cooperatives provide women with training, education and work, empowering them to move themselves and their children forward and out of the world of poverty.
We don’t think we are saving the world but just doing our little bit...
