Spain loves us!!! ..... In the last 2 months we have been busy spreading the philosophy of our company in Spain a country renown by its big fashion emporiums but not so into Ethical Fashion.

There are still tickets available for the Fair Trade Fashion event of the year, this year presented by James Redfield (of Hollyoaks & Casualty). They’ll be a smorgasbord of Fair Trade fashion on the catwalk to feast your eyes on and as well as opportunities to add a little Fair Trade fabulousness to your wardrobe! Come and visit us on the bibico stand and be tempted by the gorgeous new Spring collection….it’s an evocative cocktail of Wimbledon cool and French Riviera chic that promises a stylish Spring.

Spice is nice when it’s cold outside

Cook up a batch of spiced warm cider and invite your friends in out of the cold. We promise they’ll love you for it.
Spiced Warm Cider
• 1 1/2 litres apple cider
• 65g dark brown sugar
• 2 sticks cinnamon
• 5 whole allspice berries or 1 tsp. ground allspice
• 1 (1/2 inch by 1/2 inch) chunk fresh ginger, peeled
• 3 whole cloves
• 8 slices orange

Directions
1. In a large saucepan, combine cider, sugar, cinnamon sticks, allspice berries (or ground allspice), ginger, and cloves. Heat to a simmer and allow to cook 20 minutes. Strain into a punch bowl and garnish with orange slices. Serve warm.

For the discerning customer the event provides a hassle-free shopping experience for those who wish to buy fair and friendly products, without compromising their sense of style.

To add to the festive atmosphere, we’ll have a cafe area to rest your weary shopping legs, with organic, locally-sourced nibbles & drinks.

We are pleased to be a part of Sustainable fashion show 2009. The show’s ethos fits with bibico’s philosophy. The show has been organised by The Living Room and Bud UK Ltd. Alice Crocker of Star FM will compere and local charities Penny Brohn Cancer Care and Sustrans Bristol will benefit from a fundraising raffle on the night.

All the suppliers and designers are committed to sustainability and it will be a fantastic showcase of eco fashion from Bristol & beyond!
